Sea Lanes Brighton, the UK’s first beachside National Open Water Swimming Centre, will open to members of the public from 2nd June. Located on Brighton beech, the 50m, 6-lane outdoor pool is heated and will be open to members of the public one a pay per swim basis. Cold showers and lockers will be available free of charge.

Following planning approval in March 2021, the site began construction in August 2022.

Developers have taken the approach to include commercial units with a number of local businesses in sports, wellness and other sectors. They include:
