Feetures! Light Running Sock Review

Spending hours in the saddle or on the trail means at least one thing – a need for good preparation. Whether you’re cycling on flats or running up rocky trails, a good pair of socks is well worth investing in.
If you’RE one of the many people that suffer from blisters or aching feet during prolonged exercise, you have probably considered changing your shoes. However, a far simpler remedy is found in choosing a sport specific sock that suits your activity. The Feetures! performance sock range is part of the brand’s wide collection of activity based socks and has a strong emphasis on multisport products.
Feetures! aim to provide socks with the perfect fit using different power brands of lycra. Initially this precision can be discomforting but as the lycra flexes it matches your footshape and ultimately performs as a more cohesive layer than less technical sock fabrics. Many of the Feetures! performance socks also use Durasoft and iWick fabrics to create that special padded feeling that you normally get with thicker socks, yet without the problem of over heating and limited moisture transportation.
I’ve been using the Feetures! Light socks for my Ironman training rides and runs over the last few months. The basic idea behind these socks is great and I loved the wickability of the the fabric. Out of the swim and onto the bike they dried quickly, and have remained comfortable throughout the runs. During my training I’ve also been using the Feetures Pure Comfort which has similar multisport credentials although in a low cut shape. The one small downfall of these socks is that I have noticed a slight shrink after washing them so don’t heat treat them, wash them softly!
